singles
as I am a stripper, I tend to carry lots of singles in my pocket. went to the supermarket the other day and I paid $34 worth of groceries in singles. The cashier guy jokingly asked: "did you rob a stripper?". I said: "guess again, wise boy".
I also paid a $97 restaurant bill in singles. the owners of the place were friends, so they abstained from judging.

Reminds me of a story: My uncle was a small time crook who once robbed a laundromat. Got the whole score in quarters. Was picked up on suspicion and arested, denied all charges. He calls home and says "I need you to bail me out... if you don't have the money, I got $2000 in quarters in the trunk of my car."
He was convicted.
so, there, I'm not the only one paying bills in singles or smaller coin.
I will surely look differently now at the girl in front of me when she pays with singles ... !
Excellent! We call £50 notes 'stripper' money. Despite being standard for 'cash in hand' work, it's still viewed with suspicion and surprise. Funny how both the smallest and largest denominations stir such discomfort.
But hey, the world is rapidly becoming a place where cash is rare. Personally I'm suspicious of plastic and with good reason, given the escalating personal debt folk increasingly find themselves in.
My thanks for the link, it's my pleasre to reciprocate.
